"This property was old which wasn't a problem it was quaint but the fern room was comically small, felt like the top half of a barn, like the whole building was probably a barn. The room had ladybugs & flys, the ladybugs didn't bother me but the flys were making horrible buzzing sounds & we couldn't sleep so we had to kill the flys but left the ladybugs alone. Other flys never came back so that was good, perhaps someone left a door open. You could easily hear the rooms nearby like a simple radio...

"Very welcoming inn. The staff was super helpful. Our room was very nice and clean. It was just as represented in the photographs. We had some down time and enjoyed the outdoor fire pit at the end of a ski day and then read for a while in the common space before dinner reservations. The entire place was very warm and comfortable. Plenty of on site parking and easy access to the mountain shuttle and the village center. We loved it! "

"We had a wonderful experience staying at the Black Lantern Inn. The Inn is location on the main street, and very easy to find. We didn't get to the property until 1:00 AM, and the property were decorated with Christmas lighting, which made it cozy and super easier find the place, especially when it was so dark out. There's a small parking lot between the two buildings, and our room was in the Burdette House. The buildings are vintage, but the room has all the towels and basic shampoos, and...

"We were really disappointed with our stay at Von Trapp. While the grounds were pretty, we were primarily there to ski. Unfortunately the ski shuttle was not available when we were there, even though this is part of the resort fee you have no choice but to pay. Our room also was in a wifi dead zone so we could not stream any TV at night which is what we look forward to after a long ski day.
