The hotel is in a great location. On the tram line from the airport, around the corner is Edinburgh Castle, follow Princess Street and you reach Calton Hill. The hotel itself was clean. The only recommendation I could make is ask for a room not facing the street. Rooms facing the street, can be noisy. Would definitely say here again.

Great location! You’re only a ten minute walk to Dean Village, right near the airport tram stop and there are several bus stops on the same street. You’re about 10 min walk from Grassmarket and the castle, too! The front desk associate totally made my trip. She gave me advice on where and when to go places and provided me with a map along with directions. I was only there 1 night but the room was clean and had everything I needed. Highly recommend d for solo travelers.

Like-close to city places to visit. Close to some good restaurants. Dislike- some female staff rude, Carpets in room such bad shape my aunt tripped in the middle of the night, broke her hand- staff not helpful. Bathrooms small- shower slippery and rooms very small. This hotel for a Marriott brand, is like a hostel, no amenities, no AC- window open no airflow- fan broken in room. Neighborhood ok around you, but looks dirty when you walk out.

Clean room and en-suite.First room allocated was too hot for me despite opening the window but staff were really helpful and found a cooler one. Situated at the West end of Princes Street this budget hotel is in walking distance of many of Edinburgh's sights, shops and eateries. Another bonus is the airport bus stop right outside
