A great place to stay that had a bunch of pubs, rail and bus stations and an easy walk to Grassmarket, the mile and the castle. Breakfast was good, providing you can get a table, and staff were superfiendly. Great value.

Great location, friendly & helpful staff. Good breakfast buffet with gluten free options. The beds & rooms are comfortable but only designed for single occupancy- not couples.

The property is very conveniently located, with stores and restaurants near by. My husband and myself are both in our 70's and found the walk to the hop-on tour bus and the tram to the airport both easy walks for us. We also very much enjoyed the lovely continental breakfast, which to our surprise was included in the rate. Be aware that the accommodations are a little tight.

Very well laid out to conserve space. Beds are a bit small for 2, but we managed. Loved the free coffee and tea in the lobby. Nice spot to sit after a long day of exploring. Very convenient to trams and everything we wanted to see while in Edinburgh.

Great location and very friendly staff. However, the cleanliness could have been better. The room had a strong cigarette smoke. Overall, the location and service were good, but the cleanliness and odors definitely need improvement.

The property was in a good location and was fine for what you paid for. Our room was not cleaned completely when we arrived and it soured the impression of the property. They did send someone to clean it right away which was good service. But overall the room just needed a deep clean and was pretty gross

The Room was a bit of a strange set up with no toilet paper holder in the washroom and no waste basket in the sleeping area. The security was top notch. It was wonderfully located so we were able to walk to most places we wanted to see.

The property was as described. Really enjoyed the common sitting area at the reception area. Close and easy walk from the train station and the town tour buses. The reception staff were very helpful, friendly and efficient. Would definitely stay here on a return trip to Edinburgh.

Very nice and clean rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They offered free bag holds before and after check in as well as coffee, tea, and water while you are there. Breakfast was good. The air conditioning if ok. Doesn't keep up too well during the day, but was fine overnight.

The hotel is centrally located to pubs and restaurants. The staff at the hotel were friendly and accommodating. As most everything in the the UK, the rooms are small, but still manageable.

Great location a short walk from Haymarket station and approx. 15 minutes from Edinburgh city centre. Breakfast was good, and the rooms mostly clean, but could do with some updating.
