"The building is nice and new. The room was clean. Breakfast was mediocre, they ran out of eggs and when I asked for more they brought so little that it was enough for about 3-4 people. They put us up on the first floor and it was very loud every night past midnight. The location is good, across from the waterpark. If you go there, opt out of breakfast and ask for a room on a higher floor. "

"This hotel is really very nice, clean, safe with excellent breakfast and staff. There are alot of security features in place. Covered parking is a necessity with a fee. Pay it and dont complain. Key card access only. We were going to an event on UT campus and this hotel is very convenient. Just be aware that downtown Austin is not a safe place so a hotel like this one is worth every penny."

"Older property. It wasnt what I expected. If you’re traveling with children I would not recommend staying here. Most of the people here are construction workers… mostly stayed in my room because I just didn’t feel too safe… the beds were comfortable. "The lobby area was very nice and we were greeted by the front desk staff immediately! She was wonderful and welcoming. She told us about all the amenities and sent us on our way. Our room was very nice and the beds were comfy. It was quiet and we all slept like a baby. I really enjoyed my stay and look forward to staying with Aloft hotels again!!! "
