"This property is okay for a last minute one night stay as it is tired and worn out. Our toilet seat was very loose, the shower door didn't fit properly and sleeping on the waterproof undersheet was delightful! We were unable to sit out on our terrace area as the bushes were overgrown and it was crawling with ants. It's overpriced for what you get."

"I literally cannot say enough about this hotel. The location is unbelievable-with gorgeous 180 views of Sardinia, the staff are unbelievable (shout out to Dave who goes above and beyond) and the room was perfect. A complete 10/10. Ask for 3rd floor rooms if you can. The terraces are worth the extra. "

"The hotel is located in a great location. We received a warm welcome. Along with a room upgrade we got to check-in early. Excellent service from front desk and restaurant staff. "

"To eat go in the citadelle"

"There was no coffee in the room. When we asked for some, the young man at the desk said he did not have the key to the cupboard that held the coffee. He said the person would come in 1 hour and then he could get it for us. The person never came and we kept checking over the evening. There is strangely no place for 2 people to sit in the Luca suite. There is 1 chair in kitchen but no table to eat at. There is 1 chair on the balcony. There is no couch. To eat, we had to sit on the bed. When we were leaving the elevator was broken. We had to carry our suitcases down the stairs and the young man at the desk never said “sorry the elevator is broken; thank you for staying with us; how was your stay?”. Nothing. Very poor customer service."

"The property has a dramatic physical setting with a panoramic view of Bonifacio, the Bonifacio Strait, and Sardinia in the distance. The grounds are tastefully landscaped with plantings of olives and other Mediterranean species. Staff was helpful with restaurant and excursion recommendations."

"Very noisy, there is a club next door playing music till 1.00 -1.30 am in addition we were kept away until 4.00 am we were told it was a staff party, but appeared to be a lock in. We were booked for 2 nights but checked out the following day as we found another hotel"
