"Rude staff: The hotel's rooftop bar is open to the public and - by the staffs' own comments - have had issues with unpleasant "clientele" (not paying bar tabs, restaurant bill etc). You can expect to be interrogated by doormen whether you're actually staying at the hotel, be required to pay the food bill before you've even started eating and elbowed out of the way to restock the buffet breakfast. Rooftop bar: Food is genuinely awful, probably akin to a microwave meal. Any ambience is destroyed by tourists thrusting their camera over your shoulder to get a better photo of the view. It's also incredibly busy. Pool isn't open until June, so bear that in mind if that's a factor in choosing this hotel."

"Great location. Great clean rooms. It falls short on condition. Old door mats at main entrance, scuffed doors outside elevators, need to replace corridor walls. Need more staff at breakfast, need to have more quantity of certain items at breakfast, such as avocado, which was a long wait. "

"This property is located right in the middle of Gran Via. Very good rooms. Courteous staff. It was a pleasant stay at this place. Only issue we had was with the washer/dryer. While it washed clothes, the multiple dryer cycles didn’t dry the clothes at all."
