"Room was fine and the balcony looked out over the harbour. It’s a working harbour so maybe not the most scenic view but it was fine. We liked the town and the hotel was mostly good, particularly the location, but the extras kind of detracted. Almost €12 each for a run of the mill breakfast was way too much and the cafe next door would have been better value. Also they wanted €10 for parking but we found free parking quite close. A basic hostel. 3/5.
The room was quite tidy. There were hairs in the shared wc+shower, otherwise quite tidy. The beds were ok (springmadrass), the beddings were quite sheer and had quite strong smell (due to washing powder?). The walls let through all noises from outside and other rooms. The room&house had a stale smell.
The receptionists spoke rather good english.
The breakfast included 2 toasts, croissant and warm drink."
