"This is a beautiful property. Immaculately kept with beautiful pools and shaded areas. The staff are delightful especially at the restaurant. The check in process is a bit lengthy and officious but fine. Some of the rooms are near the cleaners store and we awoken at 8am with the cleaner banging around. "The pools and outside space are lovely at its very picturesque but the room was very dated and the bathroom was in poor condition with glass slats missing. The air-conditioning is old and struggled to cool the size of room. The shampoo and shower gel dispenser was broken when i contacted reception the receptionist was unhelpful. People smoke everywhere and even an employee who has a room in a no smoking area thinks it ok with children around. "

We drove from Chania to this location and we were happy that we rented a car so that we could drive down to Plakias (6 minutes away) to enjoy the beaches and Taverna’s. "The hotel was very clean, and all the staff were 1st class, even up to the manager, who takes time to ask guests if there are any problems. The only problem we had was the booking of the specialist restaurants, you were expected to book them via an app, this didn't work, had to argue with reception about booking a meal, after only being 9.30 & 10.00pm, not ideal when you are 75 yrs old, but after speaking to the concierge, who was very helpful and got us earlier times, it is not a problem you need when you arrive on holiday. Hopefully this problem will be sorted out and add to the good hotel / holiday experience "
