"The check in took a while as rooms were not ready. But once we received our room key we were surprised at the size of our room. Comfy bed, balcony and a huge bathroom. The access to the beach was great and we watched the sunrise on both days we were there. The property was busy but Shawn at the front desk was great and helpful. Overall a great relaxing stay - will be back."
"Inexpensive hotel, easy check in, friendly staff, clean room. Only negatives were that Wi-Fi, while showing up, did not connect to the Internet, and apparently some rooms, including the one I was in, have TVs that do not have any manual buttons and that will not let you switch inputs so you can use your Roku or firestick or laptop. Other regulars there said that the TVs in some rooms are fine for that, but others simply will not allow it, so I'm probably not going to be able to stay here again, as I need Wi-Fi and the ability to connect via HDMI to a TV. The TV looks for a cable connection from the hotel, not HDMI, and won't search other inputs if the cable is unplugged, so we can't even swap in anything that way. I would not be able to do remote work reliably from this hotel. That said, as a clean, comfortable room with good staff and no drama, it was fine, so it depends on what you need from a hotel. Price, cleanliness, and comfort were great."
"We were really disappointed in our stay at Ocean Pines. The biggest issue we had was mold on the ceilings in every room of the condo. The bathrooms have no exhaust fan and got extremely steamy and hot which makes sense why there was visible mold and moisture issues in there. We also had mold in the main bedroom, kitchen, and living room (will attach pictures if able). We purposefully booked this place for Spring break because the listing said it had an indoor pool, game room, and fitness room which would be great as the water and weather can still be cool. In reality, the pool was not heated during our entire stay and due to cold temperatures outside, we could not use it because of this. When this was escalated to the office, they offered to reimburse for one nights stay but I have not seen that credited on our account. The game and fitness rooms were very limited with only one arcade game, a foosball table, and ping pong table (which were nice to have but not easily accessible when others were using) and the fitness room was a treadmill, row machine, and bicycle, not really a “fitness room”. More like three pieces of fitness equipment. The condo was also limited in its kitchen supplies/ utensils.
We found the maintenance staff to be very friendly, especially Roy. The kids also really enjoyed the rubber duck scavenger hunt."
"The overall establishment is clean our room was ok, the environmental services staff needs to check behind an under stationary furniture, unfortunately we found moldy raisins and crumbs behind a small chest of drawers and candy wrappers under the bed and the tub floor was gray."
