"This spot is perfect for budget travelers 5 minute walking distance from town. Everything was clean and the room was spacious. Pillows were comfortable and everything worked that we used (tv, kettle, fridge, and coffee maker). The only "issue" we had was there wasn't any body soap in the shower and only decaf coffee in the room. This was fixed with a quick visit to the front desk the next morning. Staff was friendly and apologetic. I am local to grass valley and just needed a weekday staycation with the boyfriend. I would definitely stay again!"

"We loved our experience at this hotel! The bed was incredibly comfy and the accommodations were super quiet! The room was spacious and the staff were totally sweet and helpful!! Also, the decor of the hotel is well worth a visit with the most gorgeous wallpaper and period furniture in every room! I highly recommend staying here!"

"The staff, cleanliness and layout of the rooms, location, and amenities were all wonderful. There is no AC, but 2 large floor fans come with the room, so with open windows and few mosquitoes it was very comfortable. The kitchen has been updated and is very complete except there is no oven. There is a micro and two burner stove for cooking. Several other guests brought food to barbecue on one of the inn’s grills. We enjoyed eating outside on the spacious patio in front of our room overlooking the pools and lawn area. The only drawback to our stay was the sleeping arrangements… the bed is supposedly a queen but seemed more like a double. (It was very comfortable though!) The pull-out couch was wider than the bed but the mattress was very thin and not comfortable. I would stay here again, but would bring an air mattress if more than two people were staying. (No King beds or cots were available.)"

"The staff at the Best Western were absolutely fantastic. The first room I was in had a problem with the air conditioner working. With as hot as it was, it really was a necessity. At 11pm, the staff was kind enough to come up to the room to try to fix it. When that didn't work, they moved my room without question. The second room was great. The bed and pillows were both just the right amount of squishy. Everything in the room functioned as expected. The only complaint I have is that you can't set the motor on the air condition to run consistently (even on auto mode) so it cycles very loudly throughout the night. Not the end of the world once I put on some white noise but it could be very annoying to someone else. Overall, I would definitely stay here again. It was just right for what I needed and in a really convenient location to the freeway. Excellent job folks!"
