"Staff at Oulton Hall are the stand out feature. From check in to Oliver in the restaurant to the waiting staff at breakfast, all are well above expectations. Old school service where staff wait for you to pass rather than rushing to get where THEY need to be is actually quite refreshing these days. Can some things be improved, sure but this hotel has a lovely pool, great dinner and breakfast and just a lovely vibe. Check it out, for the most of us, it’s a wonderful experience. "

"We were attending an event at the Royal Amouries Museum and the hotel is perfectly located for this - just a couple of minutes walk from the main entrance. The room we had was very spacious with a large bed and sofa bed. Perfect for the three of us. The shower was powerful and had the addition of shampoo and body wash. "A great location, quiet, and near to the railway station and the city centre. The hotel is full of character, has good-sized rooms and a small friendly bar. The staff are always friendly and helpful, making you feel very welcome as of you were at home. I was very fortunate to stay in the Sir Roger Moore Suite, a splendid suite with a bath you just have to relax in! The hotel is my first choice when I stay in Leeds. "

"Amazing hotel, adequate spa. Whilst the pool is slightly warmed it quickly turns cold and it is missing a jacuzzi badly. Service in the hotel is second to none, every meal was lush and breakfast especially good. All the staff were courteous and prompt with any request. Would definitely stay again in a heartbeat, just leave the trunks at home."

"Nice clean good size room, I had a problem when the toilet flushed it was refilling continuously. I reported it to reception and they moved me to a different room and i had a great quiet nights sleep."

Complimentary snacks as well as the usual tea and coffee much appreciated and great to have bottles of milk rather than tiny plastic pots. Great value for money and the breakfast was delicious with a large range of options and helpful staff "
