I don't know how it got over a "9" rating with close to a 1000 reviews, and I have stayed at a ton of hotels, so it was a buzz kill.
The bathroom window was propped open with a wood block because windo was not installed properly.
There in not carpet in the room, it is ceramic tile. The room is much smaller than the pictures.
The bathroom was tiny...so small I had to put my toiletries on the kitchen counter because there is absolutely no room in the bathroom.
The button for the garbage disposal was in the counter rather than in the sink...not apparently done properly.
The cabinets are the cheap white things you might get at Walmart.
The built-in stove was apparently broken because there was a dual burner hot plate on top of it.
A piece of linoleum was missing on the end cap for the counter.
Parking was difficult, from a safety perspective.
The three times I went to the office, with the office sign on, there was no one there. So I had to skip it or go back again.
When I asked for something that normal motels - hotels provide, it was done with the comment that I normally don't do this. It was nice that it was done but I don't understand the comment.
All in all, it is run like a bed and breakfast rather than a motel.
I wish I would have booked at the "name brand" place down the street.
