"Had to wait a bit to check in as the person on duty was elsewhere on the property. Signs say it’s a non smoking facility yet when we got to our room it reeked of cigarette smoke. Our room was quickly switched and the employee immediately went to the first room with what looked to be an ozonizer to rectify the problem. "Lightly worn classic mid-century (1959) architecture. Rooms open onto nice a garden area. A friendly, laid-back atmosphere. Clean room; new AC; nice bed. Unfortunately, the pool was not working when we were there."

"The hotel is in a perfect location downtown. The hotel is not very clean nor is it well maintained. Upon checkin we were assigned a room that was smoked in and in terrible condition. The staff was able to assign us a different room, better but still not good. There was another person in the lobby complaining about cockroaches in his room and the staff was offering to cancel his reservation for a $79 fee.. I never saw bugs in either of the rooms we had been assigned. We won’t be back."

"I don't think the room was cleaned at all before it was given to me. There was hair in the shower, hair on the sheets, a cup left on the floor and a band-aid. It was pretty disgusting."
