"The staff were faultless"

"It is an older style building, but was clean, central and really good value. The setting and gardens are great and brilliant for dogs."

"This is a lovely old fashioned-feeling, quirky hotel with a great atmosphere. It is in a great location in the heart of Totnes. Our room was spacious and comfortable. "The staff are very helpful, and polite, nothing is too much trouble the hotel is very clean, beds are very comfortable, rooms cleaned daily it was all very good couldn't fault anything"

However, my wife’s were fine, so that made everything alright as she told me to stop moaning😉 Our thanks to the owner Peter for the recommendation for the best fish...

"This was our 4th visit and we loved it."

"Before arriving at the property, I specifically asked whether I could have a quiet room. A member of staff responded that I would be given a room on the third floor. The room itself was quiet, so initially I was pleased. However, the guests staying directly across the corridor had a dog, which started barking very early in the morning. As a result, getting any proper sleep was practically impossible. I had specifically made the request for a quiet room in advance, so it was disappointing that...
