"Overall this hotel was lovely and a wonderful location. Positives The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in a pet friendly garden suite which was ideal, the hotel food was fabulous and the spa was clean with a lovely pool, steam and sauna rooms. We did have a leak in our bathroom coming from upstairs which wasn't fixed and also there was some noise coming from upstairs. Housekeeping only came once in three days and didn't fully clean, I did mention this on the last day but...

"The room was spotless, Lisa was welcoming and helpful. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits and milk in the fridge were provided. The full english breakfast was perfect too."

"Very enjoyable short break in Torquay. Hotel was very nice, comfortable and the facilities in the spa and pool exceptional. Only slight criticism is that we found the menu for dinner in the restaurant quite restrictive with no specials available. Food was fine but options not great. Would definitely return to hotel but wouldn't have evening meal there again."

"Wow what a place & wonderful stay. The best place I’ve ever stayed at. Greta service, rooms were immaculate with a stunning view. Upgraded rooms due to an issue but gave me plenty of notice. Breakfast was lovely with really friendly service. Will definitely be back"

"Really comfortable B&B, the owners were really hospitable and the breakfasts were prob one of the best I have ever had. Dog friendly and super cute that they provided dog treats in the room. Only small thing is the jacuzzi was wood fired and they needed 6 hours notice if you wanted to use it and felt there was a bit of reluctance around asking to use it. "

"We had the most amazing time at Bayard’s Cove Inn. We stayed in the Nelson Suite, which was full of character, with a sea view on one side and beautiful Dartmouth on the other. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome, and that warmth continued throughout our stay. The breakfast was the best we’ve ever had, and the staff truly couldn’t do enough for us. Highly recommended!"

"We were not informed of the internet password. We did not have any hotel information available as it transpires the info booklets were behind ghe reception desk. We also tried to walk into the town but could not because the gate is coded. We did not know this prior to walking as we had no info. The radiator in the bathroom was scolding hot. We did advise reception and supposedly it was repaired. Sadly it was not .. we slept with three windows open and two fans running all night! Interestingly...

"Check in was a nightmare...one member of staff to multiple people waiting in a line.....dust around tv and no bag in bins or properly clean rooms.no info about ev charging and more annoying was car park was full yet when i popped out just for 5mins my spot was taken...parking should be allocated per room"

"ROOM WAS CLEANED EVERY DAY AND THEY LEAVE A BOTTLE OF WATER AND SOME BISCUITS. fOOD IN THE BAR WAS EXCELLENT BUT A LITTLE BIT OVER PRICED BUT OVERALL A GOOD PLACE TO STAY"

"The staff were excellent could not do enough for us. The property is beginning to look shabby in places, needs T.L.C. We had a lovely suite looking over the bay with a balcony, but I was very very disappointed that all the balcony doors were locked off so no one could open them. A sticker on the door says that it is waiting for maintenance. On enquiry the maintenance has not done for a very long time. I am a keen photographer which made the stay very disappointing."
