"Akitaya is always a great stay. I’ve stayed here both times I’ve been to Kamakura and I plan to stay here again when I return! The rooms are a traditional Japanese style which I think everyone should experience! The hotel is conveniently placed next to Koshigoe station which makes it really easy to get around. They even give you free tea in the room! The staff are always super friendly and even did my laundry for me. I definitely recommend this place!"

"Budget Japanese hotel in Fujisawa, good value and near the train station. Good if you are visiting Kamakura and Endoshima. Front desk speaks Japanese and English. Good access to Tokyo but ride takes about an hour and is crowded during rush hour."

"Good location next to Fujisawa station that connects to Kamakura, Enoshima and Yokohama. Good buffet-style breakfast and comfortable bed to sleep. They have paid coin washing and drying machines onsite. As a solo traveler, unable to use their Tuk tuk services to Enoshima though (min 4 people group required) which was a bummer. Otherwise, pretty good stay!"
