"I'd say this hotel is a 3 star, not a 4. And it's starting to feel very dated and looking tired in the rooms. The Air Con was not functioning correctly in the room I was given, so it made for an uncomfortable sleep on a night after the temp had reached 38 celsius. Parking was overpriced but at least it was safe. The bathrooms felt a bit grubby, and the bedroom didn't make me feel clean either. Just a general sense of dirt and age. "The hotel is set on the river estuary, with beautiful views of boats bobbing up and down and a nice promenade to walk along. On arrival the lift was broken so had to carry out cases up 2 floors, it was fixed by the next day. Also we were told that the hotel was closed the next day so there were no reception, bar or food available. This seemed a bit odd for a hotel."
