"Staff on the night when arrived very friendly, great staff at the breakfast, all good"

"The room was relatively clean however the restaurant and the breakfast areas were filthy!!! The old decor look covers up the true cleanliness of these areas and the hotel generally. I booked a room with 2 twin beds for 1 night and paid £400 5 nights before my stay. I was given a single room with 2 single beds joined together?????? "

"Absolutely fantastic hotel if you want to see the Palace or just wander round Versailles (or both). It's about 3 minutes sedate walk to the palace from the hotel front door. I'd recommend spending multiple days here in order to get the full value out of the palace, gardens and park, especially if you want to do the full experience with Trianon. The breakfast and dining options are good, the staff are fantastic, friendly and multi-lingual, and the hotel itself is also genuinely impressive. The area is full of friendly and welcoming people. There are lots of restaurants in the area, and the patisseries... if you like baked goods, you might need to be dragged out. If you're tall (over 6'4) then the lower ceiling for most of the bathrooms might be inconvenient, but they have full headroom over the shower section."

"After reading some of the reviews here I was really afraid to go to this hotel. Because I couldn’t cancel my booking since I booked it few months before when their rating was higher star. But overall our stay was great. They cleaned our room on second day of our stay because we were staying 4 days which was quite surprising. Made our stay pleasant. Also hotel is really convenient. Breakfast is decent with great view. Honestly my advice will be for the hotel management is that, clean peoples room on time and fix hot water problems. Because you guys deserve higher rating. "
