We really enjoyed our stay! The place was clean and cozy, and the fireplace made it feel extra warm and welcoming. It was also in a great location, really close to the trails. We’d definitely stay here again!
This place was SO CUTE and so much space for the cost! The staff was super helpful and even let us borrow bear spray since we flew and couldn’t carry any! About a half hour from good coffee grocery stores and gas. Very close to the sunrise entrance of mt rainier, about an hour to the paradise visitor center!
Excellent and spacious accommodation (Queen loft suite) with all amenities for a fun and comfortable stay. Within a few miles of the Mt Rainier NP and ~30 minutes from some excellent restaurant options in Enumclaw. Resort staff were on hand, engaging and always helpful. Visited in September 2026 and would readily return.
This was a beautiful place, easy access to Mt Ranier. The hot tub and sauna was a very nice amenity. The fireplace flue in our unit was not working properly, leaving the room smoky. The staff tried to remedy the problem, then gave us a 1 night refund.
Great location and cabin with 2 full bathrooms, very clean, comfortable cabin and the hot tub and pool were awesome after hiking during day. Staff set up grill with pellets so we could grill fish. Check out the hiking trail right on the property.
We stayed here because the room had a kitchen and we cooked all our meals. The location was good, just outside Mt Rainer. This place is rustic but fit our needs great.
The stay was good. The Expedia listing advertises a patio. That is only available for the loft suite. First floor suites can be hard to stay in since the walls are thin, you can hear the upstairs units move around easily.

Good location close to Mt rainier. Kids loved the loft and pool. Kitchen was convenient being far from places to eat.

The suite was cozy, had generally clean rooms and was well prepped for our stay. However, certain things here and there (eg. Cutting board, oven mitts) weren’t there; eating utensils weren’t very well cleaned; the shower pressure was quite a bit lower than our liking; and a few of the cooking pans were very used and scratched up. Overall a decent enough experience and close enough to the main Mt. Rainier trails to make it worth staying.

Clean room and usable kitchen. Friendly and very helpful staff. However they charge a resort fee despite the resort offering minimal amenities. The only amenities are a pool and a sauna, hardly worth mentioning.
Useful for a budget stay in the area but nothing exceptional.
Perfect location for Mt. Rainier. Property has everything you need. Staff is super friendly. Everything was clean. Cabin was well stocked with everything we needed.
Amazing lodge, super nice staff, the room was very clean and had all amenities (although the bathroom had a funky smell). The kids loved the pool, we loved how easy it was to access mount Rainier, a great time was had by all! We would come again!
The property is set back off the road so its nice and quiet. It's only 10min from Crystal mountain. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was great and very helpful. Would definitely stay here again!
My family (including a 10-year-old) loved this place! It is a remote, rustic and beautiful location with walking trails on the property. The outdoor pool, hot tub and sauna were a favorite with all! This is not a typical hotel with room service and a bar, etc. but this lodging accommodation makes sense in this location and was preferred by our family. The staff is very helpful. Plan ahead if you need food (as nearest grocery store is maybe 30 minutes away). Restaurants are limited but we all enjoyed the Snorting Elk nearby. This was also a good location for visiting Mount Rainier, which was our reason for coming to the area. Our entire family wants to come back to stay at this lodge again!
Great location. Nice place. Only issue was the person or persons above us were noisy. Not sure what they were doing or moving around. First time it was about a half hour around 8 pm but the worst was at 4 am
Lots of noise, moving around, banging. I hit the ceiling twice and they stopped.

Alta Crystal Lodge was definitely a fun stay. My main complaints were that the loft bathroom shower was quite moldy, the bed linens had holes in them, and the freezer could really use a defrosting. Another thing I would change is making the pool available earlier than 10:00 a.m., although I understand that may be due to maintenance requirements.
The location is fantastic and hard to beat. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but the shower and bathroom were definitely not as clean as they should have been. Despite those issues, we had a good time.

Great ambience and location just 1-2 mile from the mt rainier gate. Good vibes but pools ,hot tub was not properly clean. Also the sofa bed inside b4 is very old and was not clean enough to use as bed
Pros:
Location to Mt. Rainier national Park
Friendly office staff
Nice seating around the pool area
Cons:
No coffee pot in room
Pool and hot tub needs major cleaning
No air conditioning, room was over 88°
No screens on windows or sliding door
Mattresses were worn out
In all fairness this is more of a ski resort, temps were abnormally warm. Kids did enjoyed the pool area.
