Good location near Honfleur

Good location, near Honfleur. Plenty of parking available, and although I don't speak French and the member of staff on reception didn't speak much English, we managed really well! She was very friendly and we had a good stay. Nice shower, plenty of hot water and nice to have a balcony.

Basic but comfortable.

This accommodation is basic. The kitchen woul be more useful with better utensils eg a sharp knife, veg peeler, chopping board. The beds were very comfortable with ample bedding and the bathroom and toilet were fine. The WiFi was hopeless. There is ample parking near each apartment. We had a very pleasant stay.

Hotels.com said that reception closed at 20.00 but it closed at 19.00! Fortunately we arrived at the same time as some other late arrivals who phoned someone and found their room card under the outside ash tray....ours was there too. Unfortunately the details were incorrect so it took us ( and several friendly people) a long time to find our room. The whole site was almost empty and only just starting for the season. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. When we met the receptionist the following morning she was very apologetic. We feel that better information about the Adonis should be provided.

It is a basic accommodation for someone who wants something between camping and hotel. The smell in the the room put me off the moment we got in until we checked out early the next morning

The room had a stale smell of smoke and a number of the items in the room such as lamps, plugs sockets did not work. Convenient location for a 1 night stay while commuting

A brief stop at the Adonis

We only stayed one night at the Adonis, so have limited experiences to report. One slight negative is that the receptionist was so overworked, and apparently without help, that she had to shut up the reception for at least 20 minutes in a busy time, leaving new arrivals waiting outside, while she attended to other business. On the other hand, the breakfast was very good.

Our first room has been a smoking room. The next was worn down, dirty and in desperate need for a makeover. The room was a family room, but hardly no room for moving around in the room. We wiped of all surfaces when we arrived.

Quiet but basic

Lovely quiet location. But limited check in hours - I’d have expected an email to highlight that. Otherwise, arrive after 8pm having not called ahead and you could end up sleeping in the car! No problem after calling though. Also accommodation and kitchen facilities are very basic. Don’t think I’ve ever stayed anywhere that didn’t provide at least a bar of soap in the bathroom!
