Farmstay in Erlangen-Höchstadt

"I thought that the check-in time of 4pm was excessive, especially given that the hotel did not seem busy, but I was happy to pay €20 to gain earlier access. Plus the staff that I dealt with during my stay were lovely. The room itself was nice, but had none of those extras that make a hotel stand out (plus there was no conditioner in the dispenser, which I only found out when I went to use it). I cannot remember what the room cost me, but I was clearly getting good value for money. The room was quiet, despite the hotel being on a main road, and an Underground station being right outside was very welcome. Nuremburg itself was very easy to navigate, and quite friendly to being on foot. The trip from the flughafen took about 16 minutes, which was so easy as it did not even require a change of trains. I am giving Scandic Hotels another go in another location this year, and I would not rule out returning to this one at some point."

"This is a beautiful hotel steps away from the Hauptmarkt, with easy walking to all the altstadt sites and attractions. The room was clean and bright, and the bed was very comfortable. The public spaces in the hotel are comfortable and well appointed. Great gym. Staff was friendly and efficient. Because it's located in the thick of things, there was noise from the street at night, but it quieted down at a reasonable hour. Really nice place. Would stay again."

"The hotel was located in old town and we got the city view which made us feel like we were part of old town itself, which was amazing! We got to the hotel before 11 and since our room was ready, they let us check in early without any hassle. Staff was super friendly and always willing to answer questions. Location was perfect as we were walking distance to everything we wanted to see."

"Staff were very welcoming and the room was largely clean and very comfortable. It’s also in a great location (just a couple of minutes from the metro) and is completely quiet. The only let down was that the cleaners had forgotten to empty one of the bins in our room and you have to pay a €50 deposit just to be able to use a kettle. Otherwise, it was excellent."
