"I called to inquire about an early check in. I understand why we couldn’t check in early however, the staff was very rude and short on the phone. The place was clean and check in was easy when we got there. The beds in the room are so hard. The room got hot at night and the air couldn’t keep up. The thermostat light was extremely bright and shined in our eyes all night. We were situated near the elevator. We heard every person coming to their rooms, all the way up until almost 3am. It was miserable since we had to wake up at 5:30am. We came back later in the morning to the restaurant. The lady working left us standing up at the front for 10 minutes before telling us she’d be with us soon. After another 5 minutes with us not being seated, we ended up leaving and going somewhere else. I don’t think I’d ever make reservations back at this hotel. "

We absolutely love the LSU store across from the main desk. It is a hidden gem for LSU fans. The gentleman who worked there was also extremely kind and helpful. We would recommend staying at The Cook if you’re ever in the area. "
