"Was a little further from Selkirk than expected/noticed at booking but was worth the extra miles. Bus didn’t stop so had to book a taxi from Selkirk. The hotel was helpful and offered to come pick us up if needed! Food at dinner and breakfast was excellent."

"I booked 2 rooms, both of which were excellent, very clean and beautifully furnished, recently fitted bathrooms with excellent facilities. The staff were wonderfully friendly and welcoming, they made us feel very comfortable in the beautiful location. We really enjoyed our pre dinner drinks by the open fire in the guests lounge and learning about the history as we explored the building. Delicious food, we met the chef who checked our exact needs. We could not find any faults at all with our stay...

"I can’t fault the Sure Hotel in Lockerbie. A beautiful building, fantastic en suite room, very clean and modern. Or host, the manager Glen couldn’t have been more helpful. Plenty of free secure parking and we ended up taking a lovely stroll into Lockerbie for dinner. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the hotel, great staff who are so helpful. We’ll definitely be going again. "

"On arrival staff at desk friendly and helpful. Food in restaurant was excellent as was our cocktails. Restaurant staff were very accommodating. Good quality breakfast on both days. We were happy with our room (16) although there was motorway noise they had excellent double glazing. One negative was noise from upstairs bedroom. We were kept awake until five in the morning! Someone seemed to be walking round, maybe they couldn’t sleep ( it was hot) When I reported this to reception next day the...
