HOTEL CLOSED!! DON'T BOOK!!

We booked AND payed without any problem in advanced! When we were there, the hotel was just a ruin! It is closed since more than a year!! Don't book!!

Déception totale

Hotel ne méritant pas ses étoiles il Ya lieu de faire des réaménagements d'urgence. Absence de clim, télévision datant des annees 70 ,pas de minibar , pas de wifi serviettes de bain rugueuses, personnel demotive , bâtiments nécessitant 1rafraichessement de peinture .En conclusion les photos qui sont sur le site n'ont rien à voir avec la réalité . Bref je déconseille cet Hotel

2 days at Riad mogador Essaouria

The hotel breakfast was ok the first day and then second day was poor, there was not enough variety and the food did not taste fresh. Service was good and table was clean and the orange juice was not diluted so that eas good. Swimming pool was great nice and clean area. The room on ground floor is located where privacy is slightly evasive. People can walk past and see into our room and the windows need to be open because there is no air conditioning.

Ryad Mogador hotel stay

The hotel toilets and shower could do with updating. The rooms are adequete although the bed speads were slightly dusty. The tv wasnt the best quite dated. There is no fan or fridge in the room which makes it hard to have cold drinks unless you order from the hotel. Zakiriyah at the reception desk was very helpful with good english. Staff at the hotel tried to be helpful but sometimes did not understand what we were asking. You can change pounds into dirhams at the reception desk and we found the rate to be quite good. There is a Supermarket five minutes away if you want to stock up on snacks. You take a right as you leave the hotel and walk past the Africa petrol pump and Bonjour food shop. It is called Carrefour. If you turn left from the hotel the beach is a very short walk and you will find camels, horses, quad biking and windsurfing activities. Remember to haggle and don't take their first price walk away if you have to they will follow and call you back! We ate breakfast at the hotel only. Which mainly consists of pastries, bread, olives, yoguhurts, assortment of jams and tea. For lunch and dinner we would eat out at Medina because it was so cheap!Prices would vary from 10-35 dirhams which worked out at about less than £3. If you go shopping we found the locals shop at night in the Medina and that is when prices drop for gifts etc. It was easier to haggle at night than in the day as their is a lot of tourists or day trippers around.

Calm cozy place to stay

I regularly visit Essaouira, and Ryad Mogador is the place I stay. it is a little bit away from the Medina, but you can easily take a petit taxi and it will cost only MAD 7 to take you to the medina. A beautiful beach is close to the Ryiad (5 minutes by walk), and proper restaurants like Ocean Vagabond is in 5 minutes walk distance.

Good hotel at 1€ taxi to essaouira

It's ok if you want to stay outside the medina, and leave the car witouth problems about parking. It's just 1€ a taxi to Essaouira, and you have a nice beach walk to the city of 25 minutes. Nice pool and really close to the beach.

Hotelausstatung und allgemeiner Zustand : etwas in die Jahre gekommen dennoch sauber und gemütlich, sehr freundliches Personal. Hinsichtlich der Lage ist das Hotel auch für Kitesurfer interessant. Sehr Kinderfreundlich Preis- Leistung vollkommen OK 40€/Nacht inkl Frühstück

Bravo a toute l'équipe et bravo a Laila qui a su gérer notre réservation malgré des imprévus .... bravo a l’accueil de Madame la directrice et a tous ses salariés ... Nous avons séjourné une dizaine de jours et nous y retournerons malgré une distance qui sépare l’hôtel de la médina ,mais c'est tellement agréable de marcher le long de la plage après un bon repas au Riad de Mogador
