"I had a great time here. The room was beautiful. I was surprised how much space you get. I visited in the summer and it has AC if you need it. I like the log cabin feel they have with the wood paneling on the walls. I had a little snafu with the room code at first but the gentleman from the staff that came down was super helpful and friendly and we got that sorted out quickly.
They have a completely virtual check in system which is cool, just be prepared for it unlike me lol. Not very good phone service up here so its a good idea to set everything up earlier, and make sure you have a phone that will work. Other than that it worked good.
The king suite came with a kitchenette area with a fridge, microwave and even a little gas range. If you're staying a while you've got a nice place to cook a little bit. A nice kitchen table. There is a nice little sitting area with a sofa too. This is in a nice quite spot too. I usually don't prefer the "Motel" style so I was nervous but this spot is really nice and private.
The location was convenient for all the places I was visiting to "Sight see". I timed exactly 15 min. drive back into Lake Placid, and to my pleasant surprise, the road to Whiteface mountain is right around the corner.
It was my first visit up to the Adirondacks I stayed here and one other place in a different town, and this was definitely my favorite place. Definitely will be on the top of my list next time I find my way up to this region."
