"Great bed, super comfortable. Love that it had a fully stocked kitchen. Only regret was that our room was on the basement level and the noise from People overhead was significant. But good overall. "

"We enjoyed our two night stay immensely. How could we not, with a lovely view of Good Harbor Beach and a seven minute walk to get there. The staff was EXTREMELY helpful and welcoming. "The Hawthorne never dissapoints! Whenever im in Salem, this is my first choice. The rooms are always clean, comfortable and charming. The food options are incredible and worth the money spent. I have never come across a staff member anywhere in the hotel that isnt polite and or helpful or courteous. Well worth the money and experience. "

You could hear the base in my room.All night my tub would not drain when I took a shower and then a lady knocked on my door at nine o'clock to ask me if I drove a certain car and I did not.And I told them what I drove never again"
