"If you are looking for a quiet and restful experience. The Whitney Lodge is just the place. We had a nice room with balcony view of Beaver Lake. We visited over 4th of July weekend and we saw fireworks all around the lake from our balcony. Thinking a stay in the fall would be amazing."

We arrived 10 PM in pouring rain (a tornado touched down 6 miles away) and found it occupied. The reservation company (40 minutes and 6 phone calls later) said the credit card did not clear, and "we emailed you in December". So the reservation was never made on the home platform, but it showed "Confirmed" in my Hotels.com account from the time of...
