"The host was absolutely lovely and very welcoming, and the home itself is beautiful with generous gardens. That said, I found the room quite small – I had to place my suitcase on the bed to open it – and the mattress was very firm, which made for a less comfortable sleep. Because the room is on the ground floor near the front door, I was woken when new guests arrived around midnight. "Wonderful location in the hills outside Bologna. Fantastic thermal spa pools. Nice food and great staff (reception speak english). The room was basic and definitely overpriced. 2 stars at best Euro 65 per night should be the price, in my experienced opinion. Noisy and drafty accommodation. Conversations in the corridors and stairwells echoed around the whole building. Smokers' cigarette smoke somehow drifted into my room. WiFi was non-existent. In summary, bad hotel for business travellers....

"The hotel is in a remote location up on a hill with a beautiful view looking back toward Cesena. Our room was very nice and bright with the shades open. The bat was vey clean and modern. We can’t say enough about how wonderful the staff was. We ate dinner one night and the food was terrific. The wait staff was friendly and efficient. We weren’t rushed and we were allowed to stay well past completion of our meal.
