"Parking space was a great plus. A nice old traditional pub with plenty tables outside. Bed comfortable enough for one night stay. Good, powerful shower. Delicious full english breakfast. Dining room was a little fusty and in need of a some TLC and the evening meal was a bit overpriced for what it was but still an overall charming stay in this gorgeous location. "

"The staff were great - friendly and welcoming. The room was on the small side but we were only there for one night, and it was clean and comfortable (and the view of the hills was lovely). There was a large fan provided, which was very welcome given the heatwave that was taking place that week, We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent. A perfect place for an overnight in the Lakes."

"First arrived and the sign to the hostel was covered so you can’t see where to go We met a really nice lady who told us we should had an email with booking room number we we didn’t.. The room wasn’t great it needs updating the place smells of feet in the corridor and room The room wasn’t great it clean the beding and towels clean just the carpet was stained you didn’t wanna put your feet on it The walls where painted over mold The bathrooms where clean need more than 1 shower and 1 loo Over...

"Spent the first half hour hoovering cobwebs from bedrooms....toilet floor was damaged and spongy......little disappointing really because we've stayed in this block of cottages before....."

"All the hotel staff were kind and helpful. The breakfast offered a surprisingly wide variety of dishes to choose from—so much so that it was hard to decide—and everything was delicious. The room was compact but had everything we needed and was clean. However, opinions may differ when it comes to the interior design."

"Vey comfortable we have stayed in this historic building guest home . Just like our home, the owners was so warm to us. The guest house was located at the residential area which was very quiet and only 15 -20mins walking can down to the pier and shopping street."
