"What a nice quit stay we had! Richard was very helpful! Do make sure you have contact with him before you get there to get your room assignment. Are room was spacious and had beautiful views. Are very convenient to Grasmere. "

"Our room was on ground floor with a hot tub. Facilities were good and the bed was very comfortable. Some elements were a little tired. Staff were outstanding and responsive to all requests and questions. Nice dining area and presentation. Great central location to Grasmere village. Our only issue is that parking can be a lottery - but staff were happy to help."

"A wonderful pet friendly hotel in the heart of Grasmere. It was decorated beautifully, and the room we had was spacious and clean. The breakfast was delicious, with a range of cooked options and a buffet style breakfast too (not to mention the dog got a sausage every morning!). Our only feedback would be that our room wasn’t cleaned during our stay, though it was only three nights. It would’ve been good to have the mugs and water jug refreshed, however I’m sure if we’d asked this would’ve...

"Lovely hotel! Staff were welcoming and helpful on arrival the spa was beautiful and overall good access times - although it was soo nice would have enjoyed it being open later into the evening! We only ate breakfast at the hotel but this was lovely, enough options for full English and staff were very attentive! "
