"We went as a foursome to celebrate an anniversary. The staff, as always, are friendly and helpful and the service in the restaurant is efficient and cheerful. We had great rooms with a great view of the fells. The spa is wonderful. I had a fantastic afternoon in the gym and pool then relaxed with a book with occasional trips to the outdoor spa. Being a Club member offers lots of benefits "

"The rooms were very nicely decorated and beds comfy. Staff very friendly. Breakfast and evening meal very nice. Spacious car park. Easy to walk straight out onto the hills. My only suggesting is that without a ‘boot room’ the stair carpet and landing carpet is a bit grubby ( presumably from muddy boots and wet paws) and needs to be carpet cleaned weekly! "

Swimming pool, sauna and steam room were high quality, clean and maintained throughout the day. Breakfast excellent - continental pastries and usual buffet. The restaurant and bar area are picturesque and add to warm cosy feeling of the entire venue. Would highly recommend. "
