"Well worth the money. I was especially surprised by the kickback add-on (dinner with drinks). I had the king suite, which included a soaking tub (why I spent the extra, really and just to have a bit of walking space). The king suite has a separate living area with a pullout sofa and another TV, so if you have a group, it’s the way to go. But if you are a rowdy lot, I would mind you the walls are thin, as I realized when I was about to go to sleep as I prefer dead silence unless I’m in the mood for a podcast.
I was expecting one of those tiny bottles of lotion when I suddenly realized I didn’t have any, maybe they had some at the desk, but I’d say that was my only real complaint vs what I’m used to seeing at most hotels. I wish I had bothered to check out the pool and jacuzzi, but I plan to come back on my next staycation, so next time. I did like the dispensers in the shower. Convenient, and smelled good.
Staff was very nice, definitely among the better I’ve encountered. Kudos to them.
The food quality was just decent if I’m honest, but it got the job done. Enough variety that most palettes will find something to fill the belly, so that’s how they strike the balance. Lots of dining area.
Everything was clean and well kept, I do with they had smart TVs, but I brought my fire stick, as travelers know to do. Problem solved. Just would be nice from a modernization standpoint."
