"The place to stay in Dakar! Get a sea view and prepare if it’s cold out, because no indoor restaurants, but I loved this place. Book a driver from there to and from airport (45 minutes, wayyyyyyy longer in traffic). If you desire some comfort as I do as a 65 year old world traveler….Stay here!"

"The hostel is amazing. It was clean, well decorated and a true reflection of the Black culture. The roof top was peaceful, full of nature and the view was amazing both in the daytime and the night. The staff were polite, respectful and helpful. The only con is that on Expedia the driving time was advertised as 40 minutes when it’s an hour drive. Would I return to the single room I booked with my Gambian partner? Most definitely. I had a great time.

"New hotel with excellent service. I had a suite with sea view. Spacious and bright with a big balcony. Huge bathroom. The only downside was the lack of iron and hair drier. The service was great. Staff were friendly and professional .Rooms were very clean. Good location, close to shops and easily accessible via taxi. The restaurant serves delicious food.
