"The elevator floor was a little dirty. One elevator was out of order for 2 days. I noticed some very small ants in the bathroom. But everything else was very clean in the room and the lobby."

"Love this hotel. Rooms were spacious. Location was excellent on the quieter side of the Riverwalk. Rooftop pool was good, could use a little “umph” to be even better- potential is there. Still had a great time and enjoyed the afternoon at the pool. No towels available- should be but there wasn’t for 3 hours. Ambler Bar and Restaurant was excellent! Mariachi band on Friday nights was very fun and lively! Don’t think I’d valet next time. Garage is literally across the street. Excellent property… can’t wait to go back!"

"It was clean overall, but I believe more attention to detail is needed. The back room was clean, though not spotless, and we found a few socks that appeared to have been left behind by previous tenants. Additionally, the elevator was dirty and not in the best condition."

"This a great hotel in an historic Riverwalk building. Super location. Great staff. A bit quirky as far as elevators and some rooms go (if you are in the San Fernando tower), but the rooms are spacious and clean. Just a bit of a maze getting to some. Gym and pools are nice."
