"Rooms were nice and clean but we had an annoying noise coming from an air vent inside a wardrobe that drove us wild, made them aware and they attempted a bodge to cover it up but it still persisted and spoiled our sleep. The only other complaint is when we were dining a family with young children had been eating beside us and the kids had food on the floor, due to the hot weather there were a lot of flies about and they were congrigating around the food on the floor. "While we were only there for one night it was a treat to be able to have gotten one of the few rooms within the castle itself. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The food was delicious and they were very accommodating to my husband's dietary limitations. The only thing they forgot was having my bear knight and chocolates ready in my room but that's just a minor thing and I did ask for it just the day before so not a big deal once I asked."
