"Upon arrival to Splash Landings we went to the bar to order drinks. Over 10 minutes later we still had no drinks as the barman could not operate the till or simply pour a slushy. When we had breakfast in the morning it took longer to find a clean plate than it did to get breakfast. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable but we were only staying one night so we made do. "We will never stay onsite at Alton Towers again if this property is available! Closer to the park entrance than hotels, no need to battle the monorail crowds. Georgina the owner was extremely friendly & her communication for check in was excellent. The home itself was newly renovated to an exceptionally high standard. Perfectly clean with all the amenities provided for a short stay. Highly recommended and we will definitely be booking again if lucky to find it available."

I understand it's old but thats no excuse for zero maintenance. 2 double sockets in the room, both had only one working properly. The safety procedure sheet from the back of the door was on the floor next to the broken coat hanger. The bed base has an awful stain on it which is right in view. 2 windows have no curtains. There is only one chair in the room, which is falling apart, and no...
