"We had a wonderful stay at Pines Motel in Cottage #6. It was exactly what we were looking for and made a great home base for exploring PEI. The location was perfect, with easy access to everywhere we wanted to visit, and the beautiful view and quiet surroundings made it even more enjoyable. The cottages are a little dated, but that's part of their charm. They have that classic cottage feel that we really appreciated. The beds were very comfortable, the air conditioning worked exceptionally...

"Property is not like the picture. It's smelly and old, un-maintained. Front desk lady hardly speaks English. We had bugs in our room. Breakfast was runny scrambled eggs, under-cooked mystery meat and potatoes. Stayed 2 nights - really wanted to cancel second night but would have lost our money. Just a regrettable experience. The property needs so much work...some cleaning wouldn't hurt. Carpets were stained and smelly...really bothered my breathing. All I can say is find somewhere else to stay....

"Only nit picks were that the plug for the drain for the bathroom sink was too large so it did not seal the drain properly. And the door glass in the door had 2 hairline cracks. Overall room was 9.5 out of 10 for what we needed."

"The place was great, very nice little cottage and nice staff. The only big issue was that the temperature settings in the rooms were locked to cooler temperature in the living space (requiring the use of blankets for eating and watching TV) and warm in the bedroom making it an uncomfortably warm temperature to sleep in. My partner tends to produce a lot of heat and even he found it too cold in the living space."
