Friendly ideal stay

Arrived in the evening and was greeted by a rather friendly lady at the front desk. My room was spacious, clean and had all that was needed for my night stay. I really recommend this stay for people that’s needing a place.

Superb grounds. Very old house so some areas dated. Beautiful breakfast room and our breakfast was freshly cooked to order which was nice. Found the bed too hard so could only stay one night instead of our booked two. My husband is in pain anyway but the bed just did not help. So disappointed as the hotel is nice.

We just stayed for one night on the coldest night of the year and found the hotel was lovely and toasty. Reception staff welcoming, clean comfortable room, rate for the room was excellent value.

Nice grounds and building, staff were very helpful. Food is not available after breakfast at the weekend and the heating system was turned off (?). Noise transfer between rooms was an slight issue as we could hear the person in the next room coughing.

Wonderful stay at Farnham House Hotel

First time staying at Farnham House Hotel, We booked a FourPoster Bedroom for the Night, and may i say the experience from beginning to end was absolutely delightful, Wonderfully spacious Room, Lovely Jaccuzi Styled jetBath, Tap Water can be controlled from very hot, lovely warm to Crystal Refreshing stone cold. The Room comes with a lovely kettle Filled with Coffee and teas and biscuits… My wife and i enjoyed it very much.. And will be definately returning again, And again and again… Thank you kindly for Miss Julie and other staffs that i didnt catch their names am sorry, for the continual communication in email prior to our check in… Overall fabtastic Quality and standard of stay… We look forward to planning our future stays here in Farnham House Hotel.. Thank you all very much for such a wonderful experience 😇😇😇🙏🙏👌👌👌

It was a great stay for the funeral we went to, definitely stay again , not so much in room 12 as the toilet was straight so any other room will be better ,the toilet was on a lopsided floor an made us feel pissed sitting on it lol, so any other room would be better.

This hotel must have the most uncomfortable beds that i have ever slept on, we had the worst night sleep as there were springs digging in us all night, and staff failed to tell us that breakfast was only served till 9, apart from that a nice hotel and good staff

A Hotel with so much history now showing its age

The property is absolutely beautiful front eh outside with beautiful grounds! Our room a superior double came with a balcony overlooking part of the gardens which was lovely. With a property of its age there are some clear signs that it needs some serious tlc. Our wardrobe only had one working door making it slightly inconvenient for putting bits away. When I looked in to see if I could open the door a huge movement crack in the was present ( maybe trying to hide it?) being old every footstep and cough TV sound you can hear everything going on in and around your room! I'm so glad I paid using clubcard vouchers as I would of looked for a different property if I needed one again in Farnham. I'm so glad we stayed here and get a chance to read about the history of the hotel but it's really not worth the cost when other hotel around offer the same if not better quality for a better or more competitive price
