"Me, my husband and my 2 children had great 5days stayed in the market hotel..We booked 2 rooms (602 & 404) The breakfast was nice. ..ambience is perfect..all the staffs are firendly and helpful. The hotel is very comfort and close to the parking lot (forum groningen) where we park our car there. Would love to stay there again next time. "

"This is my new favorite hotel in the Netherlands. The staff is very warm and welcoming, my room was ENORMOUS, the setting is a rural village and the hotel is a 19th century hospital conversion. High ceilings and classic architecture. Biggest bonus was a forest walking trail behind the hotel. This place was ideal for me and my dog! Will definitely return!"

"The welcome on arrival was both warm and helpful and during our stay any questions we had were handled helpfully and professionally. The standard room was clean and comfortable and the limited space well used. Next time I will probably book a comfort room. We did not eat at the hotel other than lunch for which there was a menu with plenty of choice. Parking was easy and plentiful. "Besonders gefallen hat mir der saubere Zustand meines großen comfort-Zimmers, die Existenz einer großen Badewanne sowie die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft des Personals. Außerdem ist der Fitnessraum ausgezeichnet ausgestattet fürs Krafttraining. Einzige Kritik an diesem Kraftraum: die zahlreichen und hochwertigen kabeltürme sind nutzlos ohne die entsprechenden Einhand-Griffe. Die Hotel Bar war tadellos."

"Fun travel themed hotel with everything you need. Was quiet when we stayed (winter) but they warn it can get noisy with the bars around the hotel in season. Windows have hard shutters with acoustic foam on to counter this, plus ensure a good blackout! Would go back - better than other hotels I’ve stayed at in Groningen. "
