The Chef went above and beyond coming to our table to explain how he created his dishes. The food was excellent. The front desk manager took time to come to our car and help us figure out how to pay the parking since it was all in Portuguese. Saved us!

Before I review the hotel proper let me just say Lamego is a really cool town and this hotel is an upscale place from which to explore it. The staff were excellent. Everyone we came into contact with was friendly and helpful. Check-in was easy and parking was in a secure underground parking area. ...
