"It was a functionally nice, extremely clean hotel. The staff was very friendly (shout out to Crystal at the front desk) and the morning breakfast delivered way more than expected. But there should be more than DirectTV that loses signal when it rains, especially at the higher rate we paid because of the graduation events happening in the area. Also no iron in the room. Would I go back? Yes but I’d take my laptop so I can watch streaming services the hotel doesn’t have."

"We travel with two dogs and a service dog. I called this motel on the day I was booking our room. I made arrangements prior to booking with the motel for the 2 dogs and my service dog. Upon arrival the desk clerk wanted proof that my service dog was certified, something that does not exist. "I booked three rooms for six adults to attend my son’s graduation at Virginia Tech. I checked in and the rooms smelled with a disgusting smoke odor and some type of perfume to mask it. My family was so sick to their stomach that we were not able to stay there. I have attempted to get my money back from this hotel through Expedia. This hotel should be removed from Expedia. "Unfortunately, I hate to say it, but this was hands-down the worst hotel experience I’ve had. And I’ve traveled to a lot of developing countries so that’s saying a lot. The staff were perfectly pleasant, but the place is incredibly rundown and grotty.
