"Fundamentally this should be a nice apartment, despite the tiny twin room. Living area and kitchen were nice and the main bedroom and the bathroom were both spacious. The main problem was that the toilet flush broke the first time it was used: the button that needed to be pressed got stuck and wouldn’t come back out. "Friendly staff and excellent breakfast."

"Very disappointing stay. The room I booked was already occupied when I arrived. I was moved to a smaller room that did not match what I paid for three people, and my children had to find accommodation elsewhere. The place was not very clean and had an unpleasant smell. The kitchen was dirty. I did not even wait for breakfast. I chcked out very early in the morning."

"I didn't know how this property had so many wonderful reviews over the years. I was told the hotel was a lovely place but was since sold. If you see any photos of breakfasts - they don't exist. I would not choose to stay in this property again."

"Manager very attentive upgraded rooms because of an issue with air conditioning. Small fridge would have been a bonus but everything we needed in all our rooms, extra water and condiments in hallway. Fresh fruit was a nice touch. Restaurant was 10/10. The only disheartening incident was being refused Scottish bank notes, it is legal tender, definitely not the welcome we expected. Scotland is still part of the United Kingdom."
