"This place is a gem in Cartagena. Although the neighborhood was a bit scary at night just because it is a ghetto area. I highly recommend to use uber services to get around everywhere, which is very convienent to do. Despite that, this place felt very secured inside, beautiful and very clean rooms. Has a cute coffee shop that makes great coffee. Its also right in front of a beach which wasnt very appealing to swim in. There is beach port nearby that can take you to beautiful beaches in the coast of Colombia that is a must during your stay!! "

"Hotel Getsemaní Luxury is always top rate. Best for activities around Plaza de la Trinidad or at night out at Cafe Havana, but not too far from El Centro either."

"A/C needs maintenance because it wasn't working properly at our room. Very clean! The pool and the rooftop need maintenance also, but we still enjoyed them. Service is just excellent. Breakfast was great too! Best location ever!! "

"A very nice hotel. Excellent breakfast. The location is perfect for accessing the beach, less than 10 minutes from the walled old town and the airport. Upon check-in, I received excellent service from René. He was very helpful in ensuring my room was ready quickly, even though I arrived a little early. He was also there when I checked out. He was very kind and helpful with the airport transfer. The rest of the staff were also excellent. The rooms were spacious, with comfortable beds and very clean. I would definitely stay here again."

"The Hotel is in a great location in the centre of Cartagena old town. Room was cleaned daily and had a good sized fridge, however the room safe was tiny. From our point of view breakfast started too late (from 0730) as we had excursions organised with early pick ups. This meant that we could not have breakfast in the Hotel throughout our stay despite it being included in our room rate. "

"It isn’t in a great location and you can hear car horns and activity all night long. It’s a convenient location to get around the walled city but not if you want quiet or to sleep. We also tried contacting the hotel to adjust our reservation starting a week before our arrival and after 5 attempts with no response we gave up. "
