"We were there when it was busy because of a college graduation, and everyone was on their toes. No wait in lobby, staff friendly, professional, and efficient. Great lobby atmosphere. Room large and immaculate, had extra towels, lots of space for belongings. Beds were super-comfortable! Complimentary bottled water was a nice touch. We've stayed in nearby comparable hotels but will return to this one."

"Unique mansion converted to hotel. Beautiful furnishings. Staff was attentive. You need to like stairs for certain rooms- no elevator (though there is a dumb waiter for luggage). It can also get noisy at night if bar across street has windows/door open and because of traffic. Hotel supplies ear plugs, but should have a sound/noise machine."

"The area surrounding the hotel is less than desirable, the area appears to be in the process of being redeveloped but it’s far from getting there. There were no services, groceries, liquor store, restaurants or any kind of stores close. I walked a mile round trip to get coffee in the morning. Speaking of coffee, We stayed 2 nights and they furnished us with one packet of coffee, no creamer and no refill the second day. There were no services of any kind, no fresh towels, no nothing! "Room was filthy. Had to track down staff to clean up an unknown red substance on the floor beside the bed. Floor had various bits of garbage like packaging, dental floss etc.. Surfaces were dusty. TV remote had visible crusty dirt. So gross! Sent a message upon check in but never heard from them. Left a note for housekeeping and they addressed most of the mess. Over all rooms need updating. Amenities like lobby coffee and laundry facilities were nice but room itself needs work. Won’t stay here...
