"Honestly 5/5 experience and room. Very welcome front desk staff and the rooms were fantastic. Downtown Philly is awful for getting affordable parking, but at least they have a deal with a parking garage 4 blocks downs to get half off parking. "

"Lovely place to stay to be in the mood for history at their doorstep. Room 501, very quiet. Breakfast was absolutely fine, staff was very welcoming."

Nice little courtyard to drink your coffee or plan your day. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend the Gas Lamp Hotel."

"The host Jeanette was lovely, attentive but never intrusive. Breakfasts were delicious and nicely presented at the 12 seat table — every day we had a different entree and a good selection of fruit plus homemade sweet bread! The room was great. The bed was very comfy. had an en suite bathroom, which was important to me. The house itself is amazing! Lots of beautifully furnished rooms downstairs that guests are allowed to use and even a little pantry with bottles of water and a keurig coffeemaker...

While there is no concierge, the check-in and check-out process was smooth, instructions were clear and easy to understand, and I received quick responses to any questions. Location in old city is excellent and provided a good base for exploring Philly. Highly recommend"
