"Charming, quirky place, more than adequate for a one night stop over. Pleasant room with nice, recently refitted bathroom - sadly very hot/stuffy during recent hot weather. EV chargers did not work for me unfortunately. Food rather uninspiring and underwhelming, otherwise would stay again."

"Stayed for two nights in room 1. Staff were fantastic. Lovely breakfast on both days. Nice meal sitting outside in the sun. The wi fi was very good which is important as the phone service is non existent in this area. The village is quiet and picturesque."

"Old World Charm. The cottage style single rooms were gorgeous. Staff were so friendly and helpful. It was the hottest few days of the year but they remained cool and calm. The food was excellent. Couldn't recommend it enough. Looking forward to being able to go back again."

"Overall stay was okay, venue in itself was clean and well maintained. However there was no restaurant open due to a conference being held, only the bar was open with a limited menu. Food took over an hour to arrive and staff had to be reminded several times. On arrival food was cold and at that point not enjoyable for the overly expensive price."

"The staff and breakfast were great. The room was clean; however, it was very hot as the hotel does not have air-conditioning and it was unusually warm and we were only provided a small fan. A larger or additional fan would have been helpful. Also, the TV did not work, but we did not spend much time in the room due to the warm temperature."

"Often drive past the Welldiggers pub, and decided to stay for a wedding event for a couple of nights. Room was lovely and cosy, view was even better. Great little stay."
