Excellent place to stay

Great little hotel in a beautiful quiet town, which is oozing with charm. Owners were lovely, room was great and it was a perfect place to stay the night during our ring road adventure.

The place was very clean with hot water. It was a great pit stop on our road trip; close to the main road going in and out of the city, making it easy to pull on and off. There is no reception but called about an issue with the lock box and they were very helpful.

I am giving a 5 star review for easy check in and affordability. It is simple, but everything you need to spend a night. The place is clean and has a TV. The breakfast, which is included, is similar to those in other places where you pay $14-17, the only difference being the simple setting and cafe.

The toilet had not been cleaned when I checked in and there were dirty towels on the rack.. The motel is also located in a very industrial area.. no dinner options other than a gas station.

La habitación está a pie de calle, aunque no hay personal que te atienda es muy fácil acceder con las instrucciones que te envían, hay un supermercado cerca y un restaurante, el desayuno incluido lo ofrecen en otro hotel que está a dos cuadras. Lo recomiendo.

Incorrect check in information and no refund

This is the first 1 star review I’ve ever had to post. My wife and I were sent the incorrect self check in information for room 18 and found someone sleeping in the room when we arrived (we even had their security code and were able to open their door). We called the emergency number with no response. As it was late at night, we ended up sleeping in our car. In the morning, we went to the associated Hotel Austur and the manager Yann was very kind, apologetic, and offered a refund through hotels.com. It has been 4 weeks and we have not yet received our refund despite reaching out to the hotel multiple times ourselves and through hotels.com. I am very disappointed as Yann seemed like a decent man and even shook my hand.

Bað um annan kodda enn koddanir voru hræðilegir. Var sagt að hann kæmi enn kom aldrei. Eftir sturtuna fór brunakerfið í gang út af gufu því viftan á baðinu virkaði ekki. Morgunminn var ok. Herbergið lyktaði af mjög miklum klór og var mjög kuldalegt.

Unfortunately, the area was pretty desolate even compared to the other small fishing communities we visited on our trip. Breakfast was not ready when it was supposed to be, so we left without any other food options for miles. The room itself was serviceable. It was a place to sleep on a long road trip, which is what we needed.

Apartamentos estupendos

Llegamos muy tarde y hubo un error con la reserva. El dueño fue muy amable y nos alojó la primera noche en un Hotel. La siguiente ya pudimos dormir en el estudio que habíamos reservado. El dueño nos pidió mil disculpas y tuvo un gran detalle con nosotros. Sin duda, volvería.
