Great location, friendly helpful staff right in historic Key West

An absolute gem of a property in a fantastic location 😁 everything was spotless and clean, will definitely stay here again, and would highly recommend.

Great central Location. Excellent facilities, rooms were immaculate and the morning coffee was very welcome as were the key lime cookies. If I had one complaint it would be the $40 parking fee, luckily we found a space on the main road to park our hire car!

Loved this hotel! It was in a great location and such a beautiful place. Only criticism was the walls seemed very thin as you could hear the neighbours and the pool entertainment wasn’t the best!

This property is truly amazing but what adds the extra star are the staff, Shawn made our holiday, could not do enough for us. The house is just beautiful and so much history and extremely central. Just a few things that would advise but doesn’t effect the overall place, 1) the room we were in was opposite checkin so can be a bit noisy at times 2) the light from the outside garden pool area is on all night and keeps the room very light at night. These didn’t bother us but may affect others

Lovely stay everything perfect

The douglas house was very very nice! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The only 1 thing I could say we were taken aback about was , the place is adult only which we like because our kids are grown and we dont really want to have to deal with , listen to , or share spaces with other people's children , but there were several guests that were very very comfortable in their bodies and were very rude in and around the pool most of the time . Superb little hotel in a great location, with fab rooms and great service. We were fortunate to ate to receive an upgrade to a room with an upstairs terrace area. The pool below was great and a real sun trap. The gardens are so well maintained with lovely planted walkways. Breakfast was great and tasty. Highly recommend a stay here and close to everything but still quiet and relaxing .

The breakfast was more than adequate mainly continental but the air con was maybe a bit loud

Amazing hotel. Beautiful setting. Great room, wonderful breakfast and comfy poolside bar. Terrific staff. A must for a stay in Key West.

Rooms were clean, changed towels every day. Breakfast was good, nice selection of meats, cheeses, fruit etc. We only ate lunch once at the Bungalow Bar and what we had was very nice, Bar Staff friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The grounds of this Historic property are very peaceful and its not too far away from the hustle and bustle of Duval Street. All in all I would definitely recommend staying at this property.

Overall we had a fantastic time - loved our large, beautiful family room and the pool. Be aware that you are right next to the airport though and planes land and take off regularly. The thing that bothered us the most was the amount of plastic waste at breakfast. The hotel only provided plastic cups, plastic cutlery and paper plates. So bad for the planet and absolutely unforgivable these days! This would be reason enough for us not to stay there again unfortunately!

Hotel is modern and clean in a great location. We had room 40A which had great views of the Gulf. The room was spacious and well appointed. Only small complaint was that the water pressure could have been better on the shower.
