Though It looks very old and run down when you first get here, the rooms are super clean and I had hot water and electricity to do what I needed. I even had better internet than many places in Flores!! Would highly recommend.
Stayed here only for 1 night as I could get reservations for only a day. The reception staff was very helpful. It’s a delightful inn. The beds were very comfortable and I got the best sleep of my life. All the linens were spotlessly clean. We had excellent breakfast and dinner. The choices were very many. Good choices for vegan/vegetarian folks too. It is so quiet at night that one is automatically rejuvenated. Would highly recommend this place.
Room was clean, plenty of hot water, pool area is relaxing and sunny. Very convenient short walk to Tikal trail entrance. Front desk staff speak English and were able to arrange guides for the sunrise & sunset tours. The on-site restaurant had a lot of options but the recipes were so-so and if we ordered anything that wasn’t on their portable iPad like sugar for coffee or some extra butter, it took 3-4 requests.
Electricity shuts off at various times during the day including lastly at 9pm so be prepared for an early night. They do provide a schedule though. You can hear other guests talking in the next bungalow or outside your room, but since everyone goes to sleep early, it’s not too bad. Wi-fi is weak, but tolerable (took 15min to download a 1hr podcast).
We chose this place because it had a pool and we heard Tikal was hot, but the weather was mild (mid-January) and the pool water was very cold. If I came to Tikal again I would probably try one of the other 2 hotel options if only for the food.

The staff was amazing the rooms nice the location incredible
So fun to stay so close to Tikal- you need to buy your entrance tickets before you arrive. Its a very simple walk to the park entrance. The bunglaow was adorable. It was very hot, a bit hard to sleep but worth it for the experience
Conveniently located in the Tikal National Park. Staff was very friendly and helpful, starting with the check in at the the front desk, dining at the restaurant, and arranging shuttles, tours etc. Highly recommended.
It’s an older facility but it feels really good. Feel like you’re in a remote location, which you are. Staff was kind, food was good, Tikal is so amazing.
As advertised. What a crazy feeling to be swimming in a pool in the middle of the jungle with wild animals all around you.
Decent restaurant. Obviously its pricier than elsewhere, as it is in the craziest location.
Limited electricity hours, 24/7 wifi.
Very friendly and helpful staff
Roxy and the staff were great! Nixon guided us on the day, sunset, and sunrise tours and he did a fantastic job. The proximity to Tikal National Park can't be beat.

Close to the park 5 minutes away and the employees very helpful everyone of them
I will not stay there again. The front desk staff were amazing.
The restaurant, would not take my order, or serve me food. The restaurant was open, but the staff are incompetent.
Great property inside Tikal National Park. Good restaurant on site. Nice pool. Refreshing drink options. Very helpful front desk, Henry speaks English! Nixson, the hotels Tikal tour guide speaks English! Loved our stay!!
Conveniently located close to the entrance to Tikal National Park, the Tikal Inn has comfortable rooms (though no A/C), an amazing front desk staff willing to answer any and all questions about the park and the area, a beautiful pool just steps from your room, and a basic kitchen with an ample selection of local foods that won’t break the budget. Electricity is rationed to three times a day for 2 or 3 hours, making it an eco-friendly experience. Wildlife can be spotting easily on the property and, of course, inside the park, which is why you are here anyway, right?
Rooms are reasonably priced. For those roughing it there’s a campground nearby. The Tikal Inn is ideal for sunrise or sunset trips to the Ruins as well as a “home-base” for visits to Uaxactun, Yaxhá, or even El Mirador. Flores is an easy trip as well.
Relaxing jungle retreat with friendly staff . Great pool and walkable to park . Clean rooms with mosquito nets . Very friendly staff . Greeting was exceptional
