The docks that are pictured in the photos are submerged underwater and have been for some time as they are very slippery and covered in algae but the property is still very usable and extremely beautiful. The staff was so kind and attentive and they let us stay on the property 5 hours past our checkout time until our flights were leaving! The food from the restaurant and the drinks from the bar were absolutely delightful. We loved our stay here and would absolutely go back again.

Lovely spacious room. Spotlessly clean. Staff are wonderful and can’t do enough for you. Free lancha to Flores and will also arrange to take you across outside of hours e.g. for Tikal at sunrise trip. Pool area could do with bit of TLC, but there is a huge lake to swim in. The mattress was way too hard for my taste, but otherwise we had a fabulous stay.

All staff members were friendly, attentive and accommodating. There’s free transportation to Flores available by boat before 8 pm, and for a small fee boat will transport you to surrounding areas after hours. I scheduled the boat at 2:30 am to make it to Flores for my tour to Tikal and for 3 consecutive nights to pick me up after dinner. They also have a complimentary use of 2 kayaks. I used a kayak to visit a museum in Isleta Santa Barbara, and just for fun around the island. Food is also available and affordable on site. I highly recommend Las Luciérnagas, you’ll enjoy your stay!

El lugar y el personal es excelente, nos ayudaron en todo lo que necesitamos y fueron muy amable.s Nos atendieron super bien, la comida muy buena y el transporte por medio de la lancha es muy rápido, como a 5 minutos de la isla de flores. Nuestro objetivo fue descansar y realmente se logró. El hotel esta a la orilla del lago y rodeado de naturaleza. Esto permite sentarse en el muelle a descansar, utiliar los cayaks para dar una vuelta al lago, escuchar los monos auyadores y aves.. A cinco minutos caminando esta el Mirador del Rey Kan Ek donde puedes ver la magnificencia del Lago y luego puedes caminar por el Parque Arequeologico Tayasal. Desde el hotel, a 10 minutos en lancha se encuentra Arcas, que es un zoologico muy lindo. Como puntos de mejora, sería que a la piscina le faltan unos azulejos en el suelo y esto causa una pequeña molestia al caminar. La habitación muy linda, limpia y con lo necesario para una estadia comoda. Volveria sin dudarlo

Un lugar muy limpio, con muchas actividades recreativas. Tienen zona de hamaca al aire libre, kayak, mesa de ping pong, juegos de mesa, libros, un muelle con asientos a la orilla del lago, muy pintoresco. Servicio de transporte ilimitado y gratuito desde y hacia la isla de flores. Fui en pareja y lo súper recomiendo :)
