"This place took our money and we're not even open. Then refused to give us a refund when we arrived and found the place completely abandoned! No staff, no renters, no access to main area for food, no breakfast as advertised! Be very wary and don't stay there!! "

"Was travelling on Blue Ridge Parkway and spent the day hiking in the Rock Castle Gorge. Floyd is closest town to the Gorge. Hotel Floyd is amazingly modern and clean hotel in a very small and charming hamlet of VA."

"Very clean facility - rooms, hall, and lobby. Very friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location with good parking and nearby convenience store with gas."

"I have stayed at this location several times. Nice clean rooms and friendly staff. Location next to the interstate and BRP makes it a no brainer. Good food nearby also.I will stay there again."

"We finally found our new favorite overnight stay on our trips from Pennsylvania to South Carolina. This newer place has everything! Clean room, comfortable beds, great hot breakfast, many, many amenities including wt. room, pool table, indoor pool, safe location, etc. The staff was courteous and informative. And there were even more posititives - all booked for an incredible low price! Thank You."

"At first they charged me 75 for each dog but when I talked to another employee they corrected it. Should be 75 for two dogs. The rooms and hotel is very clean and efficient. The area outside is filled with dog poop but I guess that is more the fault of patrons. They supply bags and garbage cans but some people can’t bend over. Come on people!"

"This hotel was Disgusting and the staff was so rude. They wouldn’t allow us to have our dog in the “suite” room so her crate had to be in front of the door which was an extreme fire safety hazard for us. We traveled with 5 kids and i felt like we were all going to leave with bedbugs. Beds were so uncomfortable and the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. Would never stay again and would never recommend to anyone."

"Staff was very accommodating. Hotel and room were very clean. Breakfast offerings were good. Only negative was there was no easy way to fill a water bottle with cold water. Hotel located right off highway so easy access. Overall a great hotel."

"When you arrive at the motel, your first impression is what was I thinking. The outside is not an indicator of the cleanliness of the rooms. The rooms are very nice inside and i'm a very picky traveler. Beds were very nice. Actually, the whole experience inside was wonderful. Nice little cafe next door to get food. I would spend the night there again."
