"This is a rare find; a 13th century castello, lovingly restored and converted into comfortable and atmospheric apartments. There are magnificent views across Umbria. You are within reach of Spoleto and Foligno. Only problem; finding it. I strongly suggest that anyone booking it should make sure they get a precise map, because it is in the middle of nowhere. "We had a lovely stay at Grand Hotel San Gemini! It’s a beautifully renovated hotel with great attention to detail, located in a fantastic spot right in the old town—peaceful, quiet, and full of charm. Free parking just a few meters away was a big plus. The bed was very comfortable, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was warm and welcoming. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, always ready and happy to assist. The highlight for us was definitely the swimming pool—absolutely fantastic, surrounded by greenery and perfect for relaxing on a hot day. Highly recommended!."
